The narrative of regarding the perils of interracial sex goes back to 1790 in New Haven CT when Joseph Mountain was hung on the New Haven Green in front of 10.000 people. The narrative was written by David Daggett future US Senator , a founder of the Yale Law School, and judge of CT Supreme Court of Errors. His decision in the Prudence Crandall case is later used in the Dred Scott case. He dedicated his life to the disenfranchisement of black people and the preservation

of a mythology of black dangerousness.
